About us

MyFootballytics is a football statistics site: standings, team and player profiles, match-by-match results, rankings, comparison tools and head-to-head histories, in five languages and with no sign-up.

Behind it there is one person, Enric Febrer. This is not a newsroom or a company project: it is a personal one, built and maintained one piece at a time, which explains both what is here and how fast it grows.

What you will find

Competitions from around the world with their standings and fixtures; team profiles with squad, trends and results; player profiles with performance by season and by competition; and a page for every match with line-ups, goals, cards and statistics.

On top of that data sit the pages that cross it: rankings by metric, player and team comparison tools, the head-to-head history between two teams, and referee profiles. Everything is available without an account, without a paywall and without installing anything.

Where the data comes from

The sports data comes from API-Football, a football data provider. We do not generate it: we collect it, store it, cross-reference it and present it.

The site updates itself. Every night standings, squads and statistics are refreshed, and on match days a short, frequent pass keeps results and profiles current shortly after the final whistle.

No sports data source is perfect, and this one is no exception: some matches have incomplete statistics and some profiles have details that arrive late or never arrive. When we spot bad data we fix it; if you spot some, write to us and we will look into it.

How it is built

The site is our own software running on our own server, with no platform deciding for us what may be published. Pages are generated from the database and cached, which is what makes them load fast.

MyFootballytics is not affiliated with, associated with or endorsed by any club, league or federation. The names and crests shown belong to their respective owners and are used for informational purposes only.

What you will not find

There are no odds, no tips and no links to bookmakers. That is a deliberate decision: this site publishes data and what follows from it, and readers draw their own conclusions.

There are no user accounts or forms either: we ask for no personal details in order to browse. What we do use — analytics and advertising, always with your prior consent — is explained in detail in the privacy policy.

How it is funded

The project has costs: the server and the data licence are paid every month. The idea is for advertising to cover them so the site can stay free and open to everyone.
